Wedding Invitation

Lisa and Rohan are to be married on the 25th of February 2011 and the theme for their wedding is vintage chic. Inspired by old methods of communication (such as telegrams, post cards and newspapers) the invitation was designed using elements of an old telegram and on the back is a stylized map of the area where the wedding will be held.

A stamp with the initials LR was created and stamped in the 'office stamp' space on the invitation as well as on the front of the RSVP post card. An area for 'messages' was incorporated on the back of the post card for guests to write personal comments to Lisa and Rohan, recreating the excitement of receiving postal mail and allowing for these to become a talking point between family and friends.
