Dear friends, 2019 is the year we both turn 60 and we would love to celebrate with you at our combined birthday party in Brasov, Romania!
FYI. Card payments are not always accepted in Romania. The safest bet is to have cash with you at all times. The currency is called LEI but prices in places can be written both as LEI or Euro. If it’s written in Euro, it means they will convert it on the spot and you still pay in LEI.

We’re organising a day trip by buss on Friday 26th, to three different historic locations - Sinaia (The Peles Castle), Risnov (Historical town) and Bran (Dracula’s Castle).
Meeting time is 7:45am at the entrance to Aro Hotel with the bus departing at 8:00am.
Please have 250LEI ready for Mirela or Thomas in an envelope with your name on it. This will cover the bus trip and all the tickets for the day.
We will make lunch stop at about 1pm, at a restaurant who are expecting us and this is at self cost from approx 70LEI. As mentioned before, cash is preferred in this country.

Dinner is planned at another traditional Romanian restaurant in town called Cerbul Carpatin, at 6pm where we’re opting for wine tasting, Romanian food and traditional music. Cost approx 200LEI.
Regarding gifts: The most wonderful gift of all is that you can make it to our party. If you’d still like to gift something, we love vouchers as we won’t have much luggage flying back to Sweden after the party. Thanks so much!
